What these assessments do — and don't do.
These assessments help build a picture of your individual cancer risk and guide what established screening you should have. They are not a substitute for guideline-based screening such as mammography, colonoscopy, cervical screening, or low-dose CT. No laboratory assessment can rule cancer in or out on its own — a normal result does not exclude cancer, and an abnormal result usually has a non-cancer explanation.
If anything in your results warrants further investigation, our physician will explain what it means and refer you to the appropriate specialist or imaging provider.
